1. How do I apply for and set Correction of Missed Punch?
While setting the punch rules, the admin can select the “Request for correcting missed punch” option to enable the feature. If enabled, the punch members corresponding to the punch rules can submit a request for correcting missed punch in case of late arrival/early departure/location exception/WiFi-based punch exception/device exception. After approval, the punch exception will be calibrated and displayed in the punch records.
The “Correction of Missed Punch” template will be enabled in “Approval” if “Correcting missed punch is allowed” is set in the punch rules. The admin can set the approval process (the same as leave approval process by default) and rules and view the historical approval records.
2. Why can’t I edit the allowed users of the template in “Approvals” -> “Correcting Missed Punches”? Who can submit a request for correcting missed punch?
The correction of missed punch is closely associated with the setting of punch rules, so is whether the feature is enabled or disabled.
The [Correction of Missed Punch] template cannot be disabled or deleted manually, but will be enabled or disabled as per whether “Correcting missed punch is allowed” is set in the punch rules; the template is enabled if it is set in the punch rules, and the allowed users are the punch members; the template is disabled if it is not set in the punch rules.
