I. Productivity Tools and Basic Experience
Emails
- Activate the WeCom Mail service to work with WeCom in a more stable and secure way. Basic email features are free of charge, and the prices for advanced features have been reduced by 70%. Learn more
Admins can now activate and inquire about the service for free in the Admin Console on the web.
Smart Form
- The editing feature has been enhanced — the right-click menu in the content area now includes icons for more intuitive operations. You can quickly filter, group, and sort by right-clicking on field headers.
- The editing feature has been enhanced, allowing you to quickly filter records by right-clicking on personnel or option content to select “Include This Person”, “Include This Option”, “Exclude This Person”, or “Exclude This Option”.
- In smart sheets, filters now apply only to the individual user by default, ensuring that filtering actions do not affect other users viewing the sheet. However, one can also choose to synchronize filter settings with all.
- You can now pin frequently used filter options to the toolbar to facilitate data filtering.
- The editing feature has been enhanced, enabling you to right-click on field headers or options and use the "Data Visualization" feature to create dashboards or add charts based on the selected content with just one click.
- The collected data can now be associated with smart sheets. Smart sheets can group and display data by "Department" and automatically generate statistical charts in the dashboard for better data visualization.
- In sheets and Gantt views, you can quickly adjust the freeze pane by dragging the freeze line.
- The mobile experience for viewing record details has been optimized, with a more compact display of fields for greater efficiency.
Chat and Basic Experience
- In the @Me group, you can now set preferences to include or exclude unread messages for all members, making it easier to sort and view unread messages.
- When you create a group chat on PC, existing group chats with selected members will be recommended, reducing the need to create duplicate groups and streamlining the chat list.
- In the mobile app, you can now clean up resource files and other companies' chat history in the "Storage Space" section to have more available space on your device.
Search
- The "Global Search - Chat History" feature now includes filters for three message types: text, articles, and group announcements, making it more efficient to find historical messages.
Approvals
- Approval templates can now be configured with custom print formats, offering greater flexibility in template management.
- Electronic signatures of approvers can now be included in the exported approval documents, ensuring complete information retention.
Customer Group
- You can now set "Restrict group members from adding each other as contacts" for external groups to prevent customers from being added by other companies, thus avoiding the loss of customer resources. This option can be set for individual groups or configured in batches using group templates.
Optimized Basic Experience
- You can now receive and view notes from WeChat, and forward them to WeChat clients, sharing product introductions, promotional activities, and service information.
- The maximum size for sent and received file messages is increased to 1 GB, with download availability extended to 14 days.
- The time limit for recalling file messages is extended to 3 hours.
- Superiors can submit unified requests for team members requiring access to advanced features, assisting admins in better managing member needs and facilitating procurement.
IV. Cross-Border Communication and Overseas User Experience
- Overseas colleagues can now view the Chinese names of their Chinese counterparts using Pinyin for easier contact.
- When chatting with colleagues in different time zones, you can see if it's late at night for them. This makes cross-border communication more efficient.
- When creating events or scheduling meetings, you can see the local time of colleagues in different time zones for better cross-time zone collaboration.
Smart form
- Third-party apps can create smart sheets via API and write data into the smart sheets, which can be viewed and edited by company members. The apps can also add various views via the API, facilitating data analysis and review within the company. Smart sheets created by the apps can be accessed and updated via the API, connecting smart sheets and app data.
Third-party
- When the permissions of third-party apps authorized by the company change, service providers can receive event notifications via the API.
